I'm a distance learner at TAMIU, how do I borrow books?

Answer

Distance learners living outside of Laredo/Webb County can apply online for a TexShare Card using the "Apply Now" button on the Killam Library's TexShare Card webpage!

TexShare Cards are part of a cooperative program between libraries at Texas colleges, universities, and public libraries.  Among other services, it allows students, faculty, and staff of one TexShare library to use any other TexShare library as if they are students, faculty, or staff of that institution. Find a TexShare library near you.

Those students that are currently registered at TAMIU, with valid student ID, and are in good standing (no overdue materials or outstanding fines, etc.) may apply for a card.  Persons living inside Laredo/Webb County must apply in person at the circulation desk for a TexShare card.

For questions about TexShare Cards contact Malynda Dalton or call 956-326-2403.
